Winter Halloween

My daughter was invited to a Winter Halloween party over the holidays. I asked her what she wanted to dress as and she said 'A Piranha'... Well, not wanting to disappoint her we sat down and came up with a way to do it... I miss my dress up parties but it sure was fun working on this together!

RIP: Jeffrey Smart

This is a little belated but we just recently lost South Australian modern master Jeffrey Smart at 91. I was lucky enough to see his last Australian exhibition at Tarrawarra before he retired from painting and it was a stunning, thought provoking collection. Hard to know where to direct you for a look at his work or an article that sums up his prolific career, but his work is well worth looking into.

The Walking Dead: 400 Days

I just realised that I haven't played a video game since The Walking Dead. Nothing has grabbed me (though The Last of Us has got me in its sights) like this did; a game that I think non gamers, non Zombiphiles and non Walking Dead fans could enjoy as much as any diehard. So I was pretty excited to hear the original creators have a new chapter on the way with a very different setup. There is a bit of a nothing trailer around at the moment but the above feature's it along with an interview with the creators.
